HOUSE OF FOOLS HAS A NEW BLOG!!!

Hello fellow bloggers, blogees, blogistas and so on…..

Jordan here.  I am one of the new guys in House of Fools.  I play bass.  Jack is the other new guy.  He plays drums.

Abnormally short sentences aside, I would like to take a second to catch you all up on the happenings of House of Fools over the past several months.  Like I said before, Jack and I are the new guys.  Jack joined the band in early 2009 after the departure of Phil Bell.  Salsa continued to play shows for the next few months, but left for personal reasons last spring.  I played bass for a couple of tours and joined the band full time in June completing the new lineup.  Since then, we’ve been hard at it; trying to refine House of Fools and really focusing on how to move forward in this ever changing musical and pop-cultural environment.

Not only did House of Fools lose two members at around the same point in time, but also had a change in management and booking.  At the moment we are handling the booking of all of our shows and have started a working relationship
with our long time friend, Alex Burton and his new, super fly PR campaign GET FRESH USA.  We have been writing and recording like mad men (I swear I think Josh could write a song a day if he needed to) and we have over 50 demos up our sleeves that we cannot wait for you all to hear.  Its very possible that we may even tease you with a clip or two here on this very blog!

So in summation, we really just want you all to know that we haven’t fallen off the map.  We are playing more and more shows every month and cannot wait to tour again.  We are adapting to the ever changing climate of the internet age and using all available social utilities (myspace, facebook, twitter, etc) to continue to spread the good word of House of Fools.  We still have plans to take over the world and we would love you all to help us do it!  So keep checking back often.  Tell everyone you know that House of Fools are still alive and while you are at it, point them in the direction of this blog…and our myspace…and our facebook…and twitter…
