MAX INDIAN - Oughtaghettacamra
Max Indian’s soulful brand of lo-fi garage rock has been turning heads all over North Carolina since the release of their latest record, You Can Go Anywhere, Do Anything. Taking cues from heroes like Big Star and Wilco, Max Indian manages to rock while still employing a sense of intimacy that gives every hook-laden track a dose of warm familiarity.
Max Indian is part of the Drug Horse Collective, a group of 20 or so North Carolina musicians that come together in different forms for various bands/projects, including The Love Language, Josh Moore, Ryan Gustafson, and The Tomahawks. The collective is credited with making some of the most exciting music to come out of The Tar Heel State.
